
Mogadishu, (Hornpost)— The Prime Minister of the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, chaired the meeting of the High Committee of the Somalia Peace and Stability Fund, whose implementation is supported by the Italian Government in Somalia.
The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, said that this program is a development based on the government’s national plan, and it will contribute greatly to the improvement of basic services and the development of areas liberated from the Khawarij groups.
During the meeting, the committee approved the first three projects under the TPSS – program, all of which focus on strengthening the basic health system in Somalia, and will be implemented in Jubbaland, Galmudug and Hirshabelle areas.
The Somalia Peace and Stability Fund (TPSS) is funded by the Italian Government and implemented by the Prime Minister’s Office. The meeting held by the committee today was attended by the Italian Ambassador to Somalia HE. Pier Mario Daccò Coppi.
