Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro) today Saturday (21.06.2025) officially opened the Certificate Examination for the 8th (Middle) and 4th (High School) Grades in the Republic of Somaliland.
In this event which took place at Farah Omar High School in Hargeisa, the President sent a message to the students, teachers, supervisors and officials of the education community, emphasizing the importance of education for the foundation of the development of the nation and the consultation of our nation.
The President of the Republic of Somaliland praised all the students who are sitting for the Certificate Examination in the Regions of the country for their hard work and perseverance. Likewise, the President urged the students to take the exam honestly and confidently and to fully observe the smooth running of the exam during its duration.
The President of the Republic of Somaliland wished success to all students sitting for the 2025 Certificate Examination.
The Minister of Education Development & Higher Education of the Republic of Somaliland also spoke about this and announced that the Somaliland National Certificate Examination has started peacefully in the whole country and the minister said that the Sool Region has started the examination but it has not started in Sool East.
The Chairman of the National Examinations Office of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Daoud Ahmed Farah, who spoke there, confirmed that the certificate examination conducted by the high and middle schools of the country has reached and started safely in the country.
We urged the students to cooperate with God and take the exam safely.
On the other hand, Somaliland’s opposition and conservative parties, which sent congratulatory messages to the media, urged the students who are sitting for the exam to take the exam safely and avoid anything that could disrupt the exam.
