Hargeisa (hornpost.com/) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Irro, has launched the policy and curriculum of the country's prisons.
The educational curriculum inaugurated by the President of Somaliland in the politics and curriculum of the country's prisons was collaboration between the Ministries of Justice, Education and Religion and Awqaf of the Republic of Somaliland.

The President, who made a speech on the occasion, underlined that this action is a clear and symbolic proof of how the Unity Government is committed to protecting human rights, reforming the country's prisons, and facilitating the rehabilitation of prisoners.
The President noted that it is the first time that a systematic education system has been implemented in Somaliland Prisons, which ensures that prisoners have educational opportunities that enable them to become viable people after they finish prison.
The President of the Republic of Somaliland also said that the Government is committed to protecting the rights of Somaliland citizens, developing skills and finding job opportunities.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland said that the launch of the Policy and Curriculum of Prisons is an important step to improve the justice system in our country, focusing on the reform of Prisons and the return of Prisoners.
On this occasion, speeches were made by members of the Somaliland Council of Ministers, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Somaliland, the Mayor of Hargeisa and the Commander of the Somaliland Prison Force.
