
HARGEISA, Somaliland (Horn post) The High Committee of the Somaliland Civil Service Institute held its quarterly meeting in Hargeisa, where officials reviewed institutional performance, budget reports and ongoing infrastructure projects, including the inauguration of the institute’s newly renovated headquarters and offices.
The meeting was chaired by Abdiasis Hirsi Warsame, who also serves as chairman of the institute’s high committee. During the session, the institute presented detailed reports covering operational achievements, financial performance, audit findings and progress on construction and office rehabilitation projects.
Officials also delivered an institutional assessment report focusing on the institute’s strengths, operational challenges and areas requiring further support and development. The findings were shared with committee members as part of broader efforts to improve public sector training and governance standards in Somaliland.
Committee members conducted an inspection tour of several development projects implemented at the institute’s headquarters to assess progress and operational readiness.
The High Committee of the Somaliland Civil Service Institute includes senior officials from key government ministries and agencies, including the Ministries of Education, Interior, Finance and National Planning, alongside executive leadership of the institute.
Senior institute officials attending the meeting included Deputy Executive Director for Administration and Finance Mohamoud Dahir Omar and Planning Department Director Abdirahman Ibrahim Ahmed.
