Mogadishu (Hornpost) Somalia’s Office of the Attorney General has opened an investigation into a complaint filed by a Somali citizen who alleges misconduct and abuse of power by the Turkish Airlines country manager in Mogadishu.
The Somali government says it is conducting a formal inquiry focusing on Turkish Airlines’ operations at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport, particularly the conduct of the airline’s Mogadishu station manager, who is accused of mistreating passengers departing from the airport.
Prosecutors say the case will be handled urgently, adding that multiple complaints have been received regarding the airline’s treatment of customers at its Mogadishu desk.
