Ruling Party Leader Hirsi Ali H. Hassan and his delegation Returns to Somaliland After Official Visits to Ethiopia, Kenya, and South Africa.

Hargeisa, Somaliland (Horntpost) — The Chairman of the ruling WADDANI Party, Mr. Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan, accompanied by the party’s Deputy Chairman Mohamed Yusuf Wabeye, returned to the country today after completing a 45-day official working tour to Ethiopia, Kenya, and South Africa.

Upon arrival at Egal International Airport, the delegation was warmly received by government officials, members of the WADDANI Party leadership, and representatives from both Houses of Parliament. Large crowds of party supporters also gathered at the WADDANI Party headquarters to welcome the returning chairman.

Speaking to the media at the party’s headquarters in Hargeisa, Chairman Hirsi Ali  Hassan expressed his gratitude to all those who came out to welcome him and his delegation.

Ruling Wadani Party Leader Hirsi Ali H. Hassan speaking about the airspace dispute between Somaliland and Somalia has criticized the E- visa system of Somalia and said “that the Somali authorities are still reluctant to trouble the people of Somaliland, we called on the community to overcome the problems as soon as possible, just as we have overcome the previous problems in Somalia”

The chairman briefed the media on the objectives and outcomes of the official tour, which included high-level meetings in the three African countries aimed at strengthening political and diplomatic engagement with key partners on the continent.

During the visit, the WADDANI delegation held important discussions with Kenyan President William Ruto and senior officials of the African National Congress (ANC), the ruling party of South Africa, as well as with Ethiopian government leaders.

Chairman Hirsi stated that the meetings were productive and focused on expanding Somaliland’s regional partnerships, economic cooperation, and political dialogue with fellow African nations.

The return of the WADDANI leadership marks the conclusion of a significant diplomatic outreach effort by the ruling party, aimed at boosting Somaliland’s visibility and engagement within Africa.
