Borama (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), who has been on an official working visit to the city of Borama in recent days, today attended the graduation ceremony of the 15th batch of EELO University. This year, 265 students graduated with bachelor’s Degrees, Postgraduate Degrees, and Diplomas from various faculties of the university.
President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), in his keynote speech at the ceremony, which combined congratulations, encouragement, advice, and blessings, praised the graduating students, their parents, teachers, and the administration of EELO University for their dedication and patience throughout their academic journey. He emphasized that the knowledge they have acquired is the key to their future.
The President also stressed that his government would give special priority to the development of higher education, the creation of job opportunities for youth, and the promotion of research in order to produce a generation with the knowledge and skills necessary for building the future of the people of Somaliland.
Finally, President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro) urged the graduating students to safeguard peace, unity, and national cohesion, while avoiding harmful habits and tribalism. He further encouraged them to use their knowledge effectively for the development of their society and country.
