Borama (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), and the delegation he led were warmly welcomed this afternoon in the towns of Dilla and Borama in the Awdal region.
The people of Awdal welcomed the President and his delegation with joy and goodwill, expressing their delight at his visit, and describing the trip as one that symbolizes unity and togetherness among the people of Somaliland.
Upon his arrival in the Awdal region, the President warmly greeted the citizens and traditional leaders of the region, who had received him with the national flag of Somaliland and fresh green branches.
During his stay in Borama, the President will hold important meetings with regional and district leaders, intellectuals, and various sectors of Awdal’s society. These meetings will focus on the development of public services, strengthening cooperation between government institutions and civil society, and discussing ways to reinforce peace, unity, and national solidarity in Somaliland.
In addition, the President will attend the graduation ceremony of Amoud University.
