Nomadic Meat Corp Announces July 2026 Launch, Expands Search for Advisors and Independent Directors.

Addis Ababa (Horn post) Nomadic Meat Corp has officially announced that it will launch operations on July 27, 2026, marking a significant milestone in its plans to modernize and expand the livestock and meat export industry across East Africa.

The announcement was made during Somaliland’s May 18 Independence Day celebrations, where the company paid tribute to the region’s nomadic heritage and the resilience of communities that have sustained East Africa’s livestock economy for generations.

“Today, we congratulate the people of Somaliland on May 18 and honor the resilience, trade, and nomadic heritage that have shaped East Africa’s livestock industry for generations,” the company said in a statement.

Nomadic Meat Corp, a Delaware-registered corporation, is focused on developing a vertically integrated livestock processing and export business across Somaliland and the wider Horn of Africa. The company aims to shift parts of the traditional live animal export sector toward value-added processed meat production while emphasizing halal compliance, traceability, food security, and modern supply chain infrastructure.

According to the company, its long-term strategy includes sourcing livestock from major pastoral trade hubs such as Burao, developing feedlot and meat-processing infrastructure, and building export systems designed to serve both regional and international markets.

Nomadic Meat Corp said additional details regarding featured guests, strategic partnerships, board appointments, and launch event activities will be released in the coming months ahead of the official launch date.

The company also confirmed it is actively seeking independent directors and advisors with expertise in agriculture, international trade, logistics, governance, investment strategy, and food supply chains as it positions itself for regional expansion and long-term growth.

The announcement comes as Somaliland and the wider Horn of Africa continue strengthening their role in global livestock exports, one of the region’s most important economic sectors.
