Somaliland Head of State Receives Warm Welcome from Passengers on Fly Dubai Flight
President to Showcase Somaliland’s Statehood Struggle and Investment Opportunities in Dubai
Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), this morning embarked on a short working trip to the United Arab Emirates.
The President of Somaliland was seen off at the airport by the Commanders of the Armed Forces, Ministers, and the Marodijeh regional administration, and received a salute of honor from military units.
The President traveled on a Flydubai commercial flight, which operates regularly between Hargeisa and Dubai.
Photographs taken as he boarded the plane showed fellow passengers warmly welcoming him, with some greetings him with a handshake.
Although the Presidential Press Office has not disclosed the officials accompanying the President on this trip, he is expected to participate in a major international conference taking place in the UAE.
During the journey, President Cirro was seen reading a booklet prepared by the Ministry of Investment and Industry of Somaliland, which highlights the country’s investment opportunities.
The President is also scheduled to deliver a speech at the conference, in which he will address Somaliland’s statehood struggle and outline the vast investment potential the nation offers.
