Hargeysa,(Hornpost) – A farewell ceremony was held for a group of Somaliland students who have been awarded scholarships to study in Taiwan. The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Dahir Adan, MP Mohamed Hassan, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, Dr. Edna Adan, former Foreign Minister of Somaliland, and Ambassador Allen Chenhwa Lou, Taiwan’s Representative to Somaliland.
33 Somaliland Students are Taiwan Scholarships recipients in 2025 receiving awards.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Lou officially handed over the scholarship awards granted by Taiwan to the selected students from Somaliland.
