Tel Aviv (Horn post) A 15-point proposal by the United States aimed at ending the ongoing conflict with Iran has been revealed by Israel’s Channel 12, outlining sweeping conditions focused on nuclear restrictions and regional security.
According to the report, the proposed framework includes dismantling Iran’s current nuclear capabilities and prohibiting any future uranium enrichment or nuclear development on its soil. It also calls for transferring enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and shutting down key nuclear facilities, including Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow.
The proposal further requires Iran to grant full access to IAEA inspectors and halt its support, funding, and arming of allied groups across the Middle East.
In addition, the plan emphasizes maintaining open navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy corridor, while postponing discussions on Iran’s ballistic missile program—stipulating that such capabilities be limited to defensive use.
In return, the U.S. proposal reportedly includes lifting all existing sanctions on Iran, supporting a civilian nuclear program centered at Bushehr, and ending threats of reimposing sanctions.
The reported plan reflects a potential pathway toward de-escalation, though Iranian authorities have not yet responded to the proposal.
The developments come amid heightened regional tensions, with diplomatic efforts intensifying to prevent further escalation and stabilize global energy and security dynamics.
