Kampala (hornpost.com/) The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, arrived in Kambala, the capital of Uganda, where he was warmly welcomed.
The President met with his counterpart, the President of Uganda, Mr. Yoweri Museveni, and discussed strengthening the relationship between the two countries, especially in the areas of security, economy and the fight against terrorism.
After that, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, will leave this afternoon for Darussalam, Tanzania, to participate in an extraordinary meeting to discuss the conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Darussalam conference is strengthening efforts to end the conflict in the region, as Somalia is always ready for full cooperation and support for peace and development in the region.
