Erigavo (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), today attended the graduation ceremony of Sanag University’s 11th batch, where nearly 200 students graduated — 55% of whom were female.
In his address, President Cirro congratulated the graduates, their parents, and the university’s academic staff for their efforts and achievements. He praised the students for their dedication and encouraged them to use their knowledge to serve their communities, promote peace, and strengthen social unity in the Sanag region.
The President reminded the graduates that graduation marks not an end, but a new beginning filled with responsibility, noting that the future of Somaliland rests in their hands. He also offered prayers for their success, asking Almighty Allah to bless their education and guide them towards contributing to the progress of the nation.
The ceremony was a joyous occasion, reflecting the growing educational advancement in Sanag and highlighting the vital role of education in building both the community and the future of Somaliland.
