LONDON, United Kingdom (Hornpost) – Somaliland’s Minister of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, Fuad Ahmed Nuh, held a high-level meeting with members of the Somaliland All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) at Westminster this week.
The discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral relationship between Somaliland and the United Kingdom, with particular attention to recent travel disruptions affecting British citizens flying from UK airports to Hargeisa.
During the meeting, Minister Nuh formally presented the official stance of the Somaliland government regarding current airspace management and other travel-related issues. The engagement aimed to foster cooperation and ensure smoother travel connectivity between the two regions.
Minister Nuh emphasized the importance of open dialogue and collaboration to address challenges affecting both travelers and the aviation sector in Somaliland.
The meeting underscores Somaliland’s commitment to deepening its international partnerships and improving its aviation infrastructure to support growing demand.
