HARGEISA, Somaliland (Horn Post) Kaabsan, a member of the Telesom Group of Companies, has officially launched the MASALLAHA Luxury Apartments project, a major residential development expected to become one of the largest modern housing projects in Somaliland’s capital, Hargeisa.
The launch ceremony brought together government officials, business leaders and investors, highlighting the growing demand for high-quality urban housing in Somaliland.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Investment and Industry of the Republic of Somaliland, Saed Mohamed Burale described the project as a timely and much-needed investment that will help address the increasing housing demand in Hargeisa.
“This is an important development that contributes to meeting the capital’s growing residential needs while promoting investment and economic growth,” the minister said.
Minister of Public Works, Land and Housing of the Republic of Somaliland, Hussien Ahmed Aydid, praised the project’s modern design and construction standards, saying it would enhance the city’s urban landscape and support ongoing development efforts.
“The capital needs modern residential infrastructure of this kind, which will add both beauty and progress to Hargeisa,” he said.
Officials from Kaabsan outlined the scope of the development, noting that MASALLAHA Luxury Apartments will consist of three interconnected high-rise residential towers designed to accommodate the needs of modern families.
The development will feature a range of housing options, including:
- * Five-bedroom penthouses with living areas;
- * Four-bedroom apartments with living rooms;
- * Three-bedroom apartments with living rooms; and
- * Two-bedroom apartments with living rooms.
The project is located in the Massala area of Hargeisa, approximately 200 meters from the Serene Servor Premier Hotel and within close proximity to Egal International Airport, offering residents convenient access to key services and transportation links.
Kaabsan executives said the project reflects the company’s commitment to delivering world-class residential developments and expressed confidence that customers and investors will be satisfied with the quality, design and services offered by the apartments.
The MASALLAHA Luxury Apartments project is expected to contribute to Hargeisa’s expanding real estate sector and support broader urban development initiatives across Somaliland.
