Hargeisa (hornpost.com/) The Commander of the Police Force of the Republic of Somaliland, Brigadier General Abdirahman Abdilahi Hassan, has promised to develop the Somaliland Police Force, which he has taken over, and indicated that he has been given the position there and will be promoted to next level.
“I promise that today I will take over the position from the commander before me, I promise to further develop where I took it if ALLAH allows me to develop it”.
On the other hand, the Somaliland Police Chief asked the community to work with him and stand by him to fulfill his duties. He also asked the Somaliland Police Force officers to work with him in the way they worked with the previous commander. “Said
“I am asking all the different communities of the Republic of Somaliland, those who attended the event and those who did not attend, how well they worked with the commander before me to work with me, and I am also asking the officers, deputy officers, lieutenants, the gunmen of the police force of GOD who made me the leaders today to work with me as they worked with the commander before me in”.
The Chief of Police of the Republic of Somaliland, Brigadier General Abdirahman Abdilahi Hassan, has promised to consult with the police officers but he will not make a decision on his own and will consult with them
“I promise that I will consult with them and consult with them on the law whatever we face”.
In conclusion, the Commander of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Abdilahi Hassan, who was appointed as a police Chief, thanked the former commander of the Somaliland Police Force and the entire Police Force and at the same time asked them to stand together.
The event was also attended by the Ministers of the Government of Somaliland, the chairmen of the Wadani and Kulmiye parties, the outgoing commander and other officials.
