Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), along with a large delegation he is leading, paid an official working visit today to the city of Berbera.
Along the long road from Hargeisa to Berbera, the President and his delegation were warmly and joyfully welcomed by many citizens, a gesture that reflects the strong support and confidence the public has in the Unity and Development Government led by President Abdirahman Cirro.
The purpose of the President’s trip is to inspect and assess the progress of national affairs and ongoing development projects in Berbera. During the visit, the President is also scheduled to hold working meetings with the regional and district administrations, where they will discuss strategic issues related to the development of the Berbera Port, security, and the improvement of essential public services such as electricity, water, healthcare, and education.
