Nairobi (Hornpost) A high-level dinner combining appreciation, recognition, and encouragement for the Kenya–Somaliland Parliamentary Caucus was held at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, organized by the Somaliland Embassy in Kenya.
The Somaliland delegation was led by the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Saeed Mire Giire, accompanied by MPs Mustafe Ahmed Khayreeye and Abdikarim Meecaad.
From the Kenyan Parliament, attendees included Adan Haji Yusuf, Chairperson of the Kenya–Somaliland Parliamentary Caucus, and MP Fadumo Mohamed Ige.
During the event, the Somaliland representatives expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Kenyan lawmakers for their consistent support and advocacy on behalf of Somaliland. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening parliamentary cooperation and agreed to expand joint initiatives in the coming period.
The Somaliland delegation noted that Somaliland is a nation that values loyalty and always remembers those who stand with it during challenging times.
