Djibouti (Hornpost.com) The Head of State, His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, received this Sunday, late morning, at the Palace of the Republic, the Vice President of the Sovereign Council of Sudan, Mr Malik Agar.

Mr Malik Agar’s trip to Djibouti relates to handing over to President Guelleh a written message from the President of the Sudanese Sovereign Council, Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.

Revealed to the public, the main content of this message is essentially about the announcement of Sudan’s willingness to reintegrate the IGAD of which, our country currently holds the rotating Presidency.

This is a decision in nature to arouse the enthusiasm of the Republic of Djibouti, attached to the continued membership of Countries from this part of the world to our subregional Organization.

This is above all a brilliant diplomatic victory for our country, which has worked from the very beginning to persuade Sudan to go back on its decision to suspend its membership in IGAD.

In addition to this 1st installment, the hearing between the Head of State and Mr Malik Agar Air serves as a framework to discuss the situation in Sudan, a bloody conflict caused by an excessive amount of casualties, a pauperization of its population now a prey to a humanitarian distress unprecedented and, almost-total deflagration of all the development infrastructures of this brother country.

It should be noted that, both bilaterally and within the framework of its current term as the head of the rotating IGAD Presidency, the Republic of Djibouti has continued to work towards the return of peace, unity and unity. civil agreement in Sudan.

At the origin of a gradual peace plan based on the immediate establishment of a ceasefire supposed to mark the ground for political negotiations that, in turn, must result in the organization of inclusive elections, Djibouti also stands out through its full and complete commitment to territorial integrity and the sovereignty of Sudan .

The Minister of Muslim Affairs and Wakfs Goods, Mr Moumin Hassan Barreh, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr Mohamed Ali Hassan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Republic of Sudan, Mr Issa Kaireh Robleh, the Diplomatic Adviser of the Republic of Sudan Head of State, Mrs. Fathia Djama Oudine and the Director of the Arab Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Doualeh Wallieh, took part in this event.
