Hargeisa (hornpost.com/) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro), today inaugurated The National Conference of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Republic of Somaliland to promote job creation and teach young people skills to go to work.
At the opening ceremony of Technical and Vocational Education, which was attended by members of the Council of Ministers, MPs, academics and other leaders, President Abdirahman Irro gave a speech on the importance of skills for development and how it is necessary to teach young people skills.
The President underlined that the Government of UNITY and ACTION under his leadership will increase the budget allocated for the education of vocational and vocational skills.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland underlined that the Government is committed to equipping our youth with the skills necessary for the development of our nation. The President said that the harmonization of Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the needs of the labor market is not only an educational reform but an investment in our future.

The meeting opened by the president today is expected to produce recommendations and guidelines that will contribute to the reform and modernization of the Vocational Education Curriculum and skills training to find citizens who can meet the job needs in the market.
It’s the first time to held National Conference of Technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
