The Turkish Ambassador praised the President of the Republic of Somaliland for his success in the Presidential Election Competition, acknowledging the maturity of the democratic process in Somaliland and the civilized way in which the people of Somaliland took over the position of the nation, which the Ambassador described as rare and rare in the Horn of Africa, the people of Somaliland who are very persistent deserve to be congratulated for their success.
This meeting focused on many important issues including peace, economic cooperation, trade and investment, education, health, infrastructure development and skills, cooperation in humanitarian issues.
The President told the Turkish Ambassador that the Republic of Somaliland is very interested in the Turkish Government having direct, good and multifaceted relations with Somaliland.
