The Vice President of Somaliland inaugurated a working meeting held for the Directors General of the Government.

Hargeisa (hornpost.com/) The Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland Muddane Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi today opened a meeting held for all the Directors General recently appointed by the President of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro).

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the Director General and the Government Employees' Organization with the Government Personnel Act, the Savings System of Public Employees' Information, the Structures and Definitions of Government Employees, the tax and accounting system of the Government

The Vice-President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, who gave a brief speech at the opening of the meeting, underlined that the Directors General are the backbone of the government's work, and that they are the pillars that connect the Minister, the Deputy Minister, the Minister – the State or Chairman of the Agency and all subordinate staff.

The Chairman of the Public Service Organization Mr. Abdicasis Hirsi Warsame spoke at the meeting and gave more details and explained the importance of the meeting and the important things that need to be understood so that the Directors General of the Ministries of Somaliland can do more work.

The members of the Directors General of the Ministries and Institutions of the Government of Somaliland consist of 30 people, mostly young scholars, and were recently appointed by the President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Irro, who took over the positions assigned to them
