President Cirro increased the regular salary of the various forces in Somaliland

Hargeisa (hornpost.com/) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro) has increased the permanent salary of the different forces of Somaliland by 50%, fulfilling his promise during the election campaign that he made to the forces of Somaliland.

As Explained this below Presidential Decree:

“The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro) today on 22/01/2025 issued a Presidential Decree marked JSL/XM/XERM/249-044 /012025 to increase the salaries of various forces in Somaliland.

And the law says this:-

Increasing the salaries of various forces in the Republic of Somaliland

When I saw: Article 90 paragraph 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland;

When I saw: Article 123 and Article 124 of the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland;

When I saw: The importance of the various national forces, the independence of the nation, defense, protection and security of internal security, saving and protecting the life and property of the community, securing basic freedoms and implementing the Constitution and Laws of the Republic of Somaliland;

When I was satisfied: The importance of the National Army getting a regular salary that can be sufficient;

When I decided: To fulfill my promise to increase the regular salary of the various forces of the Republic of Somaliland;

I Produced It

To increase the regular salary of the various forces of the Republic of Somaliland, from this year 2025.
That every fiscal year the various National Forces are increased to the regular salary of a whole amount (50%) of the first term of the Government, based on the regular salary for the fiscal year 2024.
To conduct the registration of the citizen (IRIS Biometric Registration) of all the different National Forces within thirty (30) days starting from 01-02-2025.
That the salary increase of the various national forces starts when the registration and number of the various military cups of the Republic of Somaliland is completed;
