The Minister of Internal Affairs of Finland and her delegation held a meeting with the Minister of Internal Security of Somalia in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (hornpost.com/) The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia (FSG), General Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartag), received today in Mogadishu a delegation led by the Minister of the Interior of Finland, Ms. Mari Rantanen, on an official visit to Somalia.

The meeting was focused on how to strengthen the strategic cooperation between Somalia and Finland, especially in the field of security officials from both sides discussed plans to improve security, migration management, and how to expand the technical support provided by the Finnish government to Somalia.

During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Security of Somalia, General Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartag), thanked Finland for its continuous support to Somalia. The minister noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of security and the development of security institutions, specifically pointing out the need for more cooperation to strengthen peace and fight against terrorism.

on the other hand, the Minister of the Interior of Finland, Ms. Mari Rantanen has confirmed her government's commitment to support Somalia, promising that Finland will further strengthen relations in the areas of security and migration management. She insisted that her government will focus on improving the capacity of Somalia's security agencies
