Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro) has today on 21/01/2025 appointed a President with the symbol JSL/XM/WM/222-0043/012025 as the Peace Committee of the Republic of Somaliland
It was according to the President’s Decree as follows:-
Nominee
When I saw: Article 90 of the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland;
When I saw: The importance of peace in human life, the existence of nation building and economic growth.
When I considered: There is a need to establish a Committee in charge of peace in the Republic of Somaliland.
When I was satisfied: Their knowledge, skills, and experience; At the same time I realized that they can handle the responsibilities that arise from these positions.
When I did: Consult the relevant agencies;
I decided;
From today’s date, I have appointed the officials mentioned below to be the Peace Committee of the Republic of Somaliland.
1. Abdilqadir Haji Ismail Jirde – Chairman of the Peace Committee.
2.Jama Ahmed Mohamed (Oday)-Vice Chairman of the Peace Committee
3. Hassan Ahmed Ibrahim (Embassy) – Member of the Peace Committee.
4. Ali Saeed Raygal – Peace Committee Member.
5. Mohamed Jama Abgaal – Member of the Peace Committee.
6. Shuayb Mohamed Muse – Member of the Peace Committee.
7. Mohamed Id Dhimbil – Member of the Peace Committee.
