Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro) has today on 21/01/2025 appointed a President with the symbol JSL/XM/WM/222-0043/012025 as the Peace Committee of the Republic of Somaliland It was according to the President’s Decree as follows:- Nominee When I saw: Article 90 of the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland; When I saw: The importance of peace in human life, the existence of nation building and economic growth. When I considered: There is a need to establish a Committee in charge of peace in the Republic of Somaliland. When I was satisfied: Their knowledge, skills, and experience; At the same time I realized that they can handle the responsibilities that arise from these positions. When I did: Consult the relevant agencies; I decided; From today’s date, I have appointed the officials mentioned below to be the Peace Committee of the Republic of Somaliland.
