Dubai, UAE — (Horn post) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), held a bilateral meeting with the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai, where both leaders were participating in the high-level global forum.
President Irro attended the World Governments Summit for the second consecutive year. The annual event, hosted in the United Arab Emirates, is regarded as one of the world’s most influential international gatherings, focusing on modern leadership, good governance, state-building, and future global trends.
According to official information, the meeting between the two presidents took place as part of broader engagements held during the summit, which brings together heads of state, government officials, investors, policymakers, and international stakeholders from around the world.
Speaking about his participation and meetings at the summit, President Irro said that he had held productive discussions with global leaders, investors, and international partners who expressed strong interest in Somaliland and a willingness to explore investment opportunities.
