Minister of Interior and Security of Somaliland Chairs Meeting on National Security Situation
Hargeisa (Horn post) The Minister of Interior and Security of the Republic of Somaliland, Hon. Abdalle Mohamed Carab, today chaired an important security meeting held at the Ministry of Interior and Security headquarters.
The meeting focused on an in-depth review of the country’s overall security situation, with particular emphasis on strengthening national security and enhancing coordination among the various security institutions.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Abdalle Mohamed Carab stated that the general security situation of the country remains stable and satisfactory, while stressing the need for heightened vigilance and increased preventive measures to further safeguard national security. He also commended the people of Somaliland for their continued cooperation with security agencies, urging them to maintain and strengthen this collaboration.
Meanwhile, senior officers from the different security forces who addressed the meeting reaffirmed their commitment to fully carrying out their responsibilities, pledging to intensify efforts aimed at preserving peace, stability, and public safety across the country.
