Salal, Somaliland (Horn post) Leaders and elders from the Habaas community in Salal Region have agreed to collaborate in maintaining peace in the area and to avoid actions that could trigger conflict.
Senior General of the Somaliland National Army, Nimcan Yuosuf Gahnug, accompanied by high-ranking officers stationed in the western regions in recent days, met with local elders and community leaders to discuss measures for promoting stability and preventing further unrest.
