The summit, organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), focused on industrial development, emerging technological innovations, and investment opportunities within the global industrial sector.
The Somaliland delegation used the platform to engage with international stakeholders, promote the country’s industrial potential, and explore avenues for partnerships aimed at advancing manufacturing, technology-driven industries, and broader economic growth.

The delegation, led by the Director General of the Ministry of Investment and Industry of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdifatah Ismail Duale, continued its official work mission with a meeting in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
During the discussions, the Director General presented Somaliland’s Investment Guide and briefed the company on the country’s priority sectors, investment incentives, and the government’s commitment to facilitating foreign investment.
For its part, One Heart Investment expressed strong interest in exploring investment opportunities in Somaliland, particularly in the sectors of manufacturing, energy, economic infrastructure, and other development-focused projects.
The meeting forms part of Somaliland’s ongoing efforts to attract foreign investors and strengthen economic cooperation with partners in the Gulf region.
