Kampala (Hornpost) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor (Madobe), has arrived in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, leading a high-level parliamentary delegation.
Upon arrival, Speaker Madobe and his delegation were received by Ambassador Fardowsa Mohamed Qanyare, Somalia’s envoy to Uganda, along with diplomats from the Somali Embassy in Kampala.
During his stay, the Speaker will participate in the East African Community (EAC) Parliamentary Speakers’ Summit, which brings together heads of parliaments from member states to discuss regional economic and legislative cooperation.
