Hargeisa, October 5, 2025 – The First Commander of the Somaliland National Army, Major General Abdirisaq Saed Bulale, today concluded the training of nine (9) engineers who previously graduated from universities in Ethiopia. These officers had spent six years abroad and recently underwent a one-year military training program at the Abdilahi Askar Officers’ College.
The graduation ceremony was held at Abdilahi Askar College and attended by senior officials from the General Command of the Somaliland National Army.
Major General Abdirisaq Saed Bulale congratulated the newly graduated officers, urging them to serve their country with loyalty, integrity, and professionalism. He also announced that another group of office cadets currently undergoing training at the same college will graduate soon.
The Somaliland National Army Command has emphasized its commitment to strengthening the skills and expertise of its officers and personnel to enhance the overall capacity and professionalism of the national defense forces.
