Hargeisa (Hornpost) — The Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Somaliland, Professor Ismail Duale Yusuf, held a meeting at his office with the Founder of World Remit, Mr. Ismail Ibrahim Ahmed.
The meeting was also attended by the State Minister of Education, Mr. Mohamed Yusuf Ibrahim, and the Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Abdirahman Hussein Haji Hirsi.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange information and consult on the role of Sahamiya Foundation in advancing education in Somaliland, particularly its potential contribution to the reform of the national education curriculum.
During the meeting, both sides agreed on the importance of strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and Sahamiya Foundation in order to accelerate curriculum development efforts, leveraging modern technology to support these initiatives.
The meeting concluded with mutual understanding, a spirit of cooperation, and a shared commitment to improving the education sector by integrating technology with teaching and learning.
Mr. Ismail Ibrahim Ahmed, the Founder of WorldRemit, pledged that the company would play a significant role in making modern technology a key driver of education development in Somaliland
