Addis Ababa – (Hornpost) The Prime Minister of Ethiopia today received the Prime Minister of Malaysia at Bole International Airport, marking the start of a three-day official visit to the country.

The Malaysian leader arrived in Addis Ababa for high-level talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, expanding economic cooperation, and exploring new areas of partnership between the two nations.

During the visit, the two Prime Ministers are expected to discuss trade, investment, aviation, technology, and regional issues of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed welcomed his Malaysian counterpart. He discussed the visit on his official Facebook page, commenting on the arrival of the Malaysian Prime Minister in Ethiopia. He said in his statement “The honorable prime minister of Malaysia Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim for three days official visit, welcome to the ancient Ethiopia. Your visit shows the growing friendship and cooperation between Malaysia and Ethiopia, and it is a useful visit in our country’s prosperity journey.

The official delegation accompanying the Malaysian Prime Minister was warmly welcomed by senior Ethiopian government officials and diplomatic representatives.

The three-day visit is anticipated to elevate Ethiopia–Malaysia ties and pave the way for enhanced collaboration across multiple sectors.
