Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Somaliland chaired by the President of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Cirro) was held today at the Somaliland Presidential Palace, and many important issues for the nation of Somaliland were discussed following:
* Information related to the general security situation of the country, and was informed by the Minister of the Ministry of Interior who said that the security of the country is secure in general.
* General information related to the financial landscape of the country, and was informed by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, saying that the acceleration of the collection of GST items and Land Taxes is going well.
* Detailed information related to the general health conditions of the country, and was informed by the Minister of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland.
* A long report related to the situation of IDPs and humanitarian aid, and was informed by the Minister of the Ministry of Resettlement and Humanitarian Affairs of the Republic of Somaliland.
* Information related to the latest conditions of animal export, preparation and drought relief, finding a solution for the Sheikh Animal Husbandry School which is still closed: informed by the Minister of Animal Husbandry of the Republic of Somaliland.
* The process of collecting and coordinating the activities of the Ministries for the 100 days of the activities of the Joint Government and Action: it was informed by the Ministers of Information and the Presidency.
* Presentation of the Agricultural Policy and Agricultural Creation Policy and the press release from the National Conference of Somaliland Farmers: informed by the Minister of the Ministry of Agricultural Development.
* Approval of the proposal of the Committee tasked with the management of the Interim Staff: The Council of Ministers approved the proposal by a majority vote.
* Distribution of the National Mineral Exploration Policy (Read 1): The Council was briefed by the Minister of Mines and Energy of the Republic of Somaliland.
* Distribution of Legal Aid Act (Read 1): The Council was informed in general by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Somaliland.
* The smooth running of the registration activities of the various forces of the Republic of Somaliland: the Council was given a general report by the Minister of the Ministry of the Presidency.
* Finally, the President of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro) gave a general report to the Council of Ministers on the latest efforts to pacify Erigavo District and the nationalization of the Civilian Forces which are going well. The President thanked the members of the Government of the Republic of Somaliland led by the Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland and praised them for the peacekeeping activities they are doing in Erigavo.
