Djibouti (Hornpost) The President of the Republic, His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, undertook this exercise in favor of his participation in the ceremony, placed under his direct authority, of the opening of the 2nd International Medical Congress in Djibouti, held this Thursday at Djibouti Palace Kempinski.

“In order to meet these complex challenges, our country must strengthen research capable of anticipating risks, studying the peculiarities of our health environment, and adapting our prevention and response strategies,” said the Head of State.

“Djibouti must analyze its own data, produce its own models and train its own experts,” President Guelleh also said in the move in the overall inventory of the ways he has redefined for our country in his legitimate quest to meet the challenges posed to his country. Health agenda.

In this speech, President Guelleh finally hopes that the “recommendations made” of this Medical Congress “will be translated into concrete actions that benefit Djibouti, the region and the continent,” before welcoming all foreign participants including “eminent scientists, experts, researchers, clinicians, caregivers… who have done our country the honor of taking part in this medical forum of international reach.”

Prime Minister Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed and the President of the National Assembly, M Dileita Mohamed Dileita, took part in this event.

It should also be noted that the participation of all members of the Government, including the Minister of Health, Mr Ahmed Robleh Abdilleh, was surrounded by the main officials of his department.

The presence of the 1st Lady and President of the National Union of Djibouti Women, (UNFD), Mrs. Kadra Mahamoud Haid, a personality well known for her constant commitment to strengthening social arrangements – including health – of her compatriots should also be emphasized at this event.
