Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) A large delegation led by the Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi today inspected the health centers located in Sabawanag sub-district. This inspection, which was carried out by the officials of the ministry in the last week, is part of the evaluation of the progress of the Damal Health project that supports the health centers of Marodijeh region Somaliland
The Minister was accompanied by members of the directorate of the Ministry of Health Development, the heads of the Ministry’s Health Damal Project, heads of the ALLIGHT organization implementing the Health Damal Project, the coordinator of Marodijeh Region and other officials from the Ministry of Health Development.
In this inspection, the authorities first assessed the health conditions in Sabawanag District marodijeh Somaliland especially the main hospital in Sabawanaag District, Sabawanaag Central Nursery as well as health nurseries in Sabawanaag District, such as Bali Kalil, Ali Adan, Bali Qasim, Bali Ahmed and Bandar for good
The heads of these health centers that have been inspected have adequately informed the officials of the Ministry of Health Development, and the officials who accompanied the services they provide to the community, the current challenges and any plans that they need to help the Ministry in general, especially the Damal project Health in somaliland
During the inspection of the delegation, the local residents and officials including the chairman of the civil service agency, Abdicasis Hirsi Warsame, MP Ahmed Nur Yusuf Guruje and the chairman of Sabawanaag district were welcomed in this area.
The community of Sabanaag region also thanked the minister for his inspection and visit to these areas.
The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi, on his part, reported on the inspection that they came to Sabawanaag District today and the things they saw with their own eyes, promising that the challenges he saw with his own eyes will be promised by the Ministry that they will do something about it soon.
On the other hand, the Minister handed over medical supplies to the Mother and Child Center in Sabawanag.
These materials and medicines are part of the Health Damal Project for the development of health in the World Bank, which Alight works with the ministry
These materials and medicines are enough for the center to use for a period of three months.
The Damal Health Project is funded by the World Bank and supports 49 health centers in Marodijeh region the project is designed to increase and improve the quality of health services provided by the medicals centers of Marodijeh region in Somaliland.
