Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Somaliland, chaired by the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro), was held today at the Presidential Palace of Somaliland, and many important issues for the nation of Somaliland were discussed. A general report related to the country’s security situation was informed by the Minister of the Ministry of Interior and Security, telling the Assembly that the overall security of the country is secure.

General information related to the general health conditions of the country, the burdens in the Eastern regions, and the issues that need to be addressed urgently; the Minister’s trip to Sabo-Wanaag; and the Minister gave a detailed report. Detailed information related to the water needs of the Eastern Regions, the water projects completed by the Ministry, the ones it runs, and the new ones laid in stone (Erigavo), other trips that the Ministry will take to the Western Regions, and the Council gave a report from the Minister of the Ministry of Water.

The Minister of the Ministry of Planning and National Development briefed the Assembly on the Plan for the Implementation of Preliminary Activities for the first 100 days, saying that the Ministry has drawn up a strategic map to strengthen the Somaliland Development Plan the structure of politics, and empowering national institutions.

The Minister of Aviation and Airport Development of Somaliland gave a report to the Council on the Ministry’s plans to facilitate international flights arriving in Somaliland and the immigration laws to be in line with the passengers accompanying the planes. All international airlines arriving at the country’s airport have shared the travel laws of the Republic of Somaliland that require foreign passengers.

Coordination and reception (reading, audio, and video) information on the activities that the ministries will participate in during the 100 days of the promises of the Government of Wadajir and Action: informed by the Minister of the Ministry of the Presidency.

Processing and growth of financial income and tax collection for the sale of services and products (GST) in Somaliland, the council was given a general report by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, saying that the activities are going well.

Finally, the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro), gave a general report to the Council of Ministers on the latest efforts to pacify Erigavo District in Somaliland and the nationalization of the Civilian Forces, which are going well.
