Jigjiga (Hornpost.com) The President of DDS, His Excellency Mustafa Muhammed Omar and the President of Anfarta Region, Mr. Awal Arba together with the officials of the Anfarta local government held an iftar meeting to start peace between the two administrations of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and were attended by the officials of the federal government of Ethiopia, this meeting was held at the presidential headquarters of the Somali region in Jigjiga.

The President of Anfarta Region, Mr. Awal Arba, said that the Muslim community needs to forgive each other because it is a blessed month, and work on mutual understanding between the two sides of the society.
The Somali Regional Government and the Anfarta Regional Government of Ethiopia have recently been fighting between their forces in the border regions between the two regions in the Horn of Africa region.
