Hargeisa (Hornpot.com) The chairman of the KAAH party, Mohamud Hashi Abdi, has declared that his party will not be an obstacle to the National Elections committee, and they trust the work they are doing, just like the presidential and party elections.
Md. Mohamud Hashi Abdi said these in a meeting were asked questions about the upcoming Somaliland Parliamentary Elections in 2026 and the manifesto of Kaah party.
One of the questions asked was the party’s position on the Electoral Commission, as the Kaah party won the Party’s election, and was not one of the shareholders of the current members of the National Electoral Commission.

The Chairman of KAAH Political party speaking chalanges facing women in the election of Somaliland said “One of the key challenges of women in the elections are When Women are not voting women candidates are also deep-rooted cultural norms that favor male leadership”
The Chairman of the Kaah Party speaking at the forum added to hold elections on time “We as the Kaah party believe that the elections should be held on time, but we see many challenges facing the election that need to be resolved and cannot be hidden from the eyes and if they are not entered before and put in place, they will come out later, causing confusion in the holding of the election on time.”
The Chairman of the Kaah Party of Somaliland Mr Mohamud Hashi Abdi finally said the President of republic of Somaliland and the national parties will have a consultation meeting on the issues of the upcoming elections which Somalilanders started their preparations in the country.
