Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The President of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro) today held an important meeting with the Governors of the Regions of the country. to deal with the issues of national priority which is the basis of the unity and brotherhood of the community.
The most important points discussed in the meeting are:
- Security and stability in the regions of the country.
- Economic Development and Regional Investment.
- Development of Economic Infrastructure and Social Services in the Regions,
- Disaster Preparedness and Drought Emergency.
- Good Governance, Transparency and Working with Different Sections of Society:
The President told the Governors of the Regions that for the brotherhood and unity of the Somaliland nation, strengthening peace and stability is the first priority of the WADAJIR Government and ACTION.
The President told the Governors of the Regions that the duties and responsibilities assigned to him are represented by him (the President). Therefore, the Governors are required to make the people living in their regions feel that the Government of Unity and ACTION is their Government.
Finally, the President of the Republic of Somaliland urged the Governors of the Regions of the country to carry out their duties efficiently and tirelessly, as well as to fulfill the development goals of the Government of the Republic of Somaliland.
