Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Abdirahman officially closed three-day training on the strengthening of port security in Berbera.
The training was organized by the [Somaliland Maritime Security Coordination Office] in collaboration with the United Nations Organization for Transport and Maritime Safety [International Maritime Organization – IMO].
The Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Abdirahman, spoke about the importance of protecting the security of our sea in general, especially the security of Berbera port, and thanked the IMO and the Somaliland Coast Guard.
Finally, certificates were awarded to the officers who completed the training.
