Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Cirro, has appointed a committee to assess the damage caused by the fire that broke out in the Hargeisa Radio market, which damaged the traders who were doing business in the market.
The committee appointed by the President consists of members of the Council of Ministers, the Mayor of Hargeisa, and the Commander of the Somaliland Fire Brigade and other members.

“Subject: Appointment of the National Level Committee for the Evaluation of Losses & Support of Radio Market Fire.
As you are aware, there is a fire disaster that has been happening to us lately, the fire that often breaks out in the commercial areas, and the fire disaster causes a lot of damage to the people who are suffering, lives.
The fire disaster also affects the settlements where the poor people live, causing many houses to be destroyed by poor people, as well as the lives of a public father.
So, bearing in mind the responsibility of the government to take care and provide assistance to the people of the business community who have lost their livestock appointed you to be the National Committee for the Evaluation of Loss and Support of the Radio Market in charge of the following activities:
- assessing the damage caused by the fire in the Radio Market in Hargeisa;
- Managing and coordinating emergency operations to help those affected by the fire;
- Advising on the causes and finding a solution to the fire disaster, to prevent the disaster from later harming the lives and property of the people of Somaliland;
