Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The President of the Republic of Somaliland Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro), accompanied by the Vice President, today called an extraordinary meeting of the members of the Council of Ministers to give general information about the recent working trip of the President to the United Arab Emirates.

- In order to further strengthen the cooperation between the Republic of Somaliland and the United Arab Emirates.
- In order to cooperate in the fields of Economy, Employment, Investment in Development Projects, Investment in Agriculture, Livestock, Education, Mining and Oil Investment, Central Bank Cooperation, continuation of the expansion of DP World Investment, cooperation in Security issues, and other priority issues for both countries.
The President told the Council of Ministers that he and the delegation he led during the 4 days they were in the United Arab Emirates had more than 10 meetings with the highest officials of the United Arab Emirates. ”
At the same extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers today, important DECISIONS were made for the construction and development of the Republic of Somaliland.
Among those decisions that were voted by a show of hands by the Council of Ministers was:
- Council Decision on the Implementation of the Number of the Cup and Quality of the Various National Forces. 38 members voted for that decision, no one was silent or rejected it.
- The Council of Ministers voted for the implementation of the Sales Tax (Sales Tax) which will go directly to the Government Treasury for purchases:
- A) Mobile Money shopping process (Merchant Payments) for voltage payment services (Zaad, eDahab, MyCash, Sahal, and the like).
- B) Purchasing Processes between Mobile Applications Banks and Wallets (DahabPlus, Wafi, PremierWallet, AmalBank, IBS Bank and the like).
- C) The process of depositing money through speech and the Internet through Telecommunication Companies (Telesom, Somtel, Somcable/SO, Soltelco, Gollis, Bluecom and all companies that provide ISP Services).
- D) Billing Procedure for Companies that provide Fire Service (Utility Bill Payment)
- E) And all kinds of systematic and other bills.
