Erigavo (Hornpost.com) Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi together with the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama, who has been on a business trip to some parts of the eastern region of the country for the last few days and arrived in Erigavo town, today inspected some of the maternal and child health centers as well as mental and general hospitals in Erigavo city.
The officials were accompanied by the Minister of Education and Science and the mental health adviser of the Ministry there was also a way for the authorities to see the health needs in Sanaag Region to base it on the Ministry’s plan to improve health services throughout the country.
During their inspection, the Minister and the Director General stood one by one on the work that was going on in the health centers and hospitals they visited, and held special meetings with the workers who were working in the centers they were passing through and the patients who were being served, praying to God to give them complete health.
Finally, the officials held a special meeting that lasted for a long time with the various health authorities of the region, completing the general health situation of the region, where it is going and any existing needs that need to be addressed urgently.
The Minister of Health Development has promised the general hospital in Erigavo that the ministry will bring an emergency vehicle (Ambulance) to be part of the efforts to provide complete medical services to the community.
