Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The Commander of the Somaliland National Army, Brigadier General Niman Yusuf Gaahnuug, has promised that he will lead the national army during his tenure with equality, justice and consultation and he will be the commander of the entire national army.
Commander Nmaan, who was speaking at the handover ceremony, which was organized in a big way, took over from the former Commander of the National Army, Major General Nuh Ismail Tani on Thursday.

Commander Nimaan said that the National Army is the most important pillar of the existence of our country’s nationalism and the time has come to strengthen its power, quality and honor.
Commander Niman “said that my leadership will be based on justice, consultation and coordination between the elderly and the youth of the national army of the Republic of Somaliland”.
The new commander added that he has nothing to worry about building a quality army by taking advantage of the power, quality and experience of the Somaliland national army.
In conclusion, Brigadier General Niman Yusuf Gahanuug underlined that he will work on the policy of the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces and the President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Iro, which was to find a national army that has full power and can protect the general security of the Somaliland nation
