Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Cirro, and a large delegation led by him paid an official visit to the United Arab Emirates today.
The United Arab Emirates government has extended an official invitation to the President and also sent a special Royal Jet.
The Somaliland President’s trip will be his first trip abroad since he took office.
The President was accompanied by his delegation; Minister of Foreign Affairs , Minister of the Presidency , Minister of Finance and Economic Development , Chief of Intelligence , Senior Adviser to the President on Economic Affairs , Head of the President’s Office and other officials (.
The president’s trip was also accompanied by the first lady of the nation Mrs. Fardus Mohamed Roble.
The president and his delegation will be in the United Arab Emirates for three days and will have various meetings with the heads of the United Arab Emirates government and will discuss important issues for both governments and the two peoples.
During the President’s official visit to the United Arab Emirates, he will have a meeting with the Somaliland community in the United Arab Emirates.
