Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The new Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of Somaliland Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama has officially assumed the position of Director General who was recently appointed by the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Cirro), to the Ministry of Health Development.
The inauguration ceremony of the new Director, which was held at the Civil Service Hall, was present. The Minister and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Development, Directors General, Members of Parliament, Directors of various departments of the Ministry, Health Coordinators and Directors of Hospitals in the Regions of the country, heads of agencies working with the Ministry.
Officials from various branches of the government, the support of various employees of the Ministry, Members of National Councils, Politicians and traditional leaders who spoke there admired the outgoing director as a professional and that he can lead the Ministry of Health as he was one of the Somali youth doctors who have been working for the development of Somaliland’s health for the last 10 years.
